I build web and mobile products, and the AI features inside them.

I’m a Lead Frontend and Applied AI Engineer at Oxinus, part of IHC, where I lead the frontend of Verinvo, a Ministry of Finance-accredited e-invoicing platform in the UAE. Outside work, I build my own products for people in the UAE and Ghana.

A few projects so far

These are the products I work on.

During the day I lead the frontend of an accredited e-invoicing platform. Outside of that I run my own products, lead engineering at a logistics company in Ghana and produce documentaries. Open any project to read how I built it.

Applied AI

These are the AI features I have built into real products.

Some of these are my own work and some, like Ask Verinvo, I built with colleagues. They run inside an accredited e-invoicing platform, a financial wellness app, a delivery company and a marketplace.

  • Sawt

    Hisab

    Sawt is a voice companion that people can talk to in their own Arabic dialect. It answers in the same dialect, uses their own numbers, and can read a bank statement back to them out loud.

  • Ask Verinvo

    Verinvo

    An AI agent inside the e-invoicing platform, which I built with colleagues across product, MCP tooling and backend. It answers users' questions and can take actions for them, but only within what each user is allowed to do.

  • Oxigen MCP server

    Verinvo

    An MCP server with 29 tools for the Verinvo team. Each user's own API key is passed through, so agents never get more access than the person using them.

  • Hisab coach

    Hisab

    The coach reads someone's debts, statements and credit report, all anonymised, and turns them into a plan. It can also draft the letter to their bank.

  • Parcel-photo booking

    Dawurobo

    You take a photo of a parcel and the app reads the recipient, address, phone number and amount for you. It made bulk orders much faster.

  • Growth agent

    Dawurobo

    Every week it drafts campaigns to bring vendors back. It works without ever seeing a customer's personal data.

  • A website AI can read

    DrivingInstructor.ae

    Every page on DrivingInstructor.ae can be served as clean text to AI assistants, so when someone asks an AI about getting a licence in Abu Dhabi, it can quote the site correctly.

Permissions come first
An AI agent should only be able to do what the person using it is allowed to do. On Verinvo, every agent call runs with that person's own API key.
The AI sees as little as possible
Models get anonymised data for the task in front of them and nothing more.
People stay in control
Every plan, draft or letter the AI writes is something the person can accept, change or throw away.

Experience

I have been building software professionally since 2020.

I taught myself to code in 2019 and started working professionally the year after. These are the places I have worked since then, alongside my own products.

    Lead Frontend Engineer

    I lead the frontend of Verinvo. I built the Oxigen MCP server and helped build Ask Verinvo with the team.
