What this site collects.

This site collects very little, and this page lists all of it.

The short version

This is a personal website. It has no accounts, no sign-up forms and no advertising, and it does not set cookies. I only collect anonymous numbers about how the site is used, so that I can see which pages are useful and fix the ones that are not.

Analytics

I use Vercel Web Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights. They count page views and a few actions, such as opening a project, scrolling through a page or clicking a link, and they record the type of device, the browser, the country and the page that sent you here.

They do not use cookies and they do not identify you. Vercel works out whether two page views came from the same visit from a short-lived value that is discarded within a day, and it does not store your IP address with the data I can see. Speed Insights measures how fast pages load so that I can keep the site quick on phones.

Hosting

The site is hosted on Vercel. Like any web host, Vercel's servers handle your IP address and browser details in order to deliver the pages, and may keep them in short-term logs for security and reliability. I do not use those logs to track anyone.

Email and links

If you email me, I receive your message and email address in my own inbox and use them only to reply to you. I do not add anyone to a mailing list.

Links to other sites, such as LinkedIn, GitHub, YouTube or the products I have built, take you to services with their own privacy policies.

Questions or removal

If you would like me to delete an email conversation, or you have a question about this page, email me from the contact section of this website or message me on LinkedIn.
